I’m worried that a competitor of mine has written a negative review of my property?

If you suspect you’ve been targeted, or you question the authenticity of a review, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We’ll look into your concerns immediately and remove any review, which does not conform, to our guidelines.

I suspect a property review is not genuine?

If you suspect that a review is not entirely genuine, the first thing to do is drop us an email

We will investigate the review, inform you of our findings and remove any review we find which is not in accordance with our guidelines

Can I request a reviewer removes their review?

No. All communication should be directed to our customer support team, however we will not review any reviews that adhere to our Property Review Guidelines.

Can these reviews be trusted?

The simple answer is yes. We work hard to ensure genuine holidaymakers write all of the reviews included on Travel Eden. Our editorial team has a comprehensive system of checking which is applied to each review, ensuring it’s authenticity prior to publishing it on the site.

Any submissions, which do not meet our strict guidelines, are not published, and we take any accusations of fraudulent activity very seriously.

If you suspect the authenticity of any review published on TravelEden contact our customer service team and they will launch an immediate investigation.

I’ve been offered an incentive to review a property. Is this allowed?

Absolutely not. While property owners are encouraged to request guests leave a review of their holiday home, we forbid any incentive being offered. This includes discounts, upgrades or any type of ‘special treatment’ on current or future rentals.

I’m an owner. Can I publish written reviews I have received personally, such as comment cards or entries in my guestbook?

We’re sorry, but TravelEden cannot accept this practice. Guests must be responsible for posting their own reviews to the site.

Can an owner pay a company to post positive reviews on their behalf?

Again, this is not allowed by TravelEden. We only accept completely impartial reviews from genuine guests.

How do I report a review I believe to be fraudulent?

If you are concerned that a review has been posted which is incorrect, contains fraudulent information, or does not meet our review guidelines, you should contact customer support.

We use a thorough system of software and human checking to help us stop any fraudulent content from ever making it onto the TravelEden site, but we always welcome the feedback of owners and members. If we find a published review has violated our guidelines in any way it will be removed.
