This apartment is light and airy with windows all around, and a wide veranda allowing the visitors to enjoy the wonderful views over Korthion Bay and the surrounding area.

In the Living and Dining room all the furniture is antique and the ceiling is decorated by a row of cyprus tree trunks, according to traditional architectural pattern.

There is one double bedroom also with its own veranda and one twin bedroom with two single beds.

The kitchen is fully equippd with cooker, fridge and dishwasher. Lastly the bathroom with bath and luxurious italian tiles.

This apartment has windows all round, allowing you to enjoy the views across Korthion Bay.

The double bedroom features a fireplace entirely made of stone. This room was orginally used as the main kitchen of the Tower.

The wooden Penthouse in the living room can provide additional accommodation for one to two children (a low sofa can be provided on request) fully equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom with bath tube.

The studio is totally separate and has two single beds, kichenette, bathroom and fantastic views over Korthion Bay and the surrounding areas.

What's in the Area

At the southeastern coast of the island, facing the Aegeansea, the historical village of Aidonia was built over the natural shelter of Korthion Bay, four centuries ago.

Aidonia is a picturesque and peaceful villlage which keeps alive local tradition, as if time has stopped. Korthion is the main village situated only 1.5kms from Aidonia. At the entrance of Aidonia village visitors are welcomed by a magnificent natural fountain (spring).

You can see the old Greek Orthodox Church of Agioi Paintes with its exquisite treasures of orthodox christian art. Also the small Church of Agioi Saranta which is built next to the Agioi Paintes.

Local activities include scuba diving, fishing and swimming in a variety of small or bigger beaches around the area of Korthion Bay with its crystal clear waters.

Andros is the second biggest island of Cyclades and has magnificent beaches, local festivals and fayres to visit. The capital of the island, Chora is located 18 kms from Aidonia and has three museums, one being the world famous 'Goulandris' Museum of Comtemporary Art. Also in the city is a library and a cinematography club to visit and plenty of shops.

Sareli Tower was built in Aidonia Village in 1690 and has been renovated in 1994 with respect to local architecture. Sareli Tower dominates the village of Aidonia and features aquarella paintings of the 17th century.

Sareli Tower has three floors, each floor has a fully equipped independent apartment.

Travel Information: From Athens International Airport its a 1/2 hour drive to the harbour, then 2 hours by boat to arrive to Andros island. Then from Andros harbour, Aidonia village is located 34 kms away at the South Eastern end of Andros island.
