El Raval/Sant Antoni area is an exciting and up-and-coming zone of Barcelona. The Viana apartment building is well placed between the modern structured housing plan of Eixample and the Victorian aged rambling streets of El Raval. Although a quieter residential area, it still has plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes to offer. The building is also very close to the contemporary art museum of Barcelona, the MACBA, and the famous vintage shopping street, Calle Riera Baixa. Other popular tourist destinations close to this location include Plaza Catalunya, Las Ramblas and the Boqueria market. Also nearby in the other direction is Montjuic where various attractions such as the Olympic Stadium, the Magic Fountains, Sant Jordi concert hall, Plaza Espanya and Fira Barcelona which hosts numerous trade shows and congresses each year.

The nearest metro stop is the Sant Antoni stop where one can access the Purple line, and the red line is easily accessible in just a 5 minute walk at the Urgell stop in the other direction. Taxis and buses are also plentiful in this area.
