Using the site Securely and Browser Protection

All well-known modern web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Safari support ‘secure mode’ and standard online security protocols. If you are using older versions of browsers such as Internet Explorer ‘IE 5′ consider updating to a later version such as ‘IE 8′ or Firefox ’3′ to take advantage of better security features.

Before making online payments please look for the ‘padlock’ symbol at the bottom of the page which signifies you have entered the secure part of the website. In addition the website address or URL should read ‘https…..’, the ‘s’ after the ‘http’ confirms this is the secure part of the website, otherwise known as ‘SSL’ or Secure Socket Layer. Also, most browsers warn the user that they are entering a secure part of the website upon entry.

If you have any further concerns about security, please Email customer services or call our customer service team on info@traveleden.com.

Security of your personal details

Unfortunately, it is fact of life online that there are unscrupulous individuals seeking to obtain personal details in order to commit identity and financial fraud. Much of this fraud occurs through false emails that are known in the industry as “phishing emails”. It has been highlighted in the press that customers of banks and even Google have been receiving fraudulent emails requesting personal details.

Although Travel Eden may from time to time send you emails, we will never send an email asking you for your registration details, log on details, or direct you to a page from an email to request such information.

We do recommend, however, that periodically, you change your Travel Eden log in password.

If you receive an email that appears to impersonate Travel Eden that you suspect is fraudulent, please forward a copy of this immediately to the customer service team.
