Travel Tips - No town results

Arundel is one of the most picturesque towns in England. It has an instantly recognizable skyline dominated by both the Castle (which sits on high in its magnificent grounds looking out over the town it once protected), and the cathedral spire too. This beautiful old market town is situated amongst the undulating countryside of the South Downs and sits astride the river Arun.

Arundel old town is a delightful mixture of Victorian and Georgian architecture and is a beautiful setting for nostalgic walk. With its many inns, taverns, and restaurants, Arundel is a great place to spend and enjoyable weekend, taking one of the river cruises, and venturing into the Wetlands Centre. For a bit of fun, visit in early August when Arundel hosts its famous bath race.

Whatever you do, don't forget your camera. Arundel offers some of the most stunning urban and rural views anywhere in Great Britain, with its trademark 11th century castle being the focal point for many unforgettable picture shoots.
