St Tropez is nearby too, just a short drive along the Mediterranean coast road that offers the most spectacular views. Famous for the film festival, luxury yachts and a lovely sandy beach. From May to the end of Septemebr there are firework displays in the bay every week - usually on Friday and Saturday. If you think you have seen a good firework display wait until you see the ones in Cannes. No expense is spared and they are spectacular. All done to music. How cool is that!!
All of the displays are syncronised to music and it really is a show not to be missed if you are on the Riviera. The best place to stare up at the sky and watch the 30-45 minute show is the beach. However it can be busy, so as the displays start at 10pm, it's usually best to get on the beach by 9.30pm.
Truly spectacular.
