The city of Nice on the French Riviera is one of the top tourist destinations in Europe. With its stunning beaches, great weather and many local visitor attractions, it's one of the most popular places on the Riviera. Nice is a great place to stay, and from here you are within easy striking distance of Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Monte Carlo, playground to the rich and famous.
Nice has everything that you might expect of a sophisticated city on the Riviera: City beaches, great seaside dining, an outdoor market, great nightlife, elegant city streets, a selection of museums, a palace, and some wonderful architecture. There is also some superb casinos; so if you feel like emulating that great James Bond in Casino Royale, slip on your white tuxedo; good gaming, and fine dining - this is just the place for you.

To really make the most of your visit I would suggest allocating a good 40 minutes and accessing the stone steps on the Promenade des Anglais side (next to the Hotel Suisse), that way you can enjoy the views of the beach before descending the hill on the Port side.
There is a children’s playground at the top of the hill, toilets (0.35 Euro), a café and lift if you don’t fancy walking back down.
