Travelling by train is an excellent way to get around the French Riviera especially if you want to explore the areas superb beaches and towns including Grasse, Nice, Cannes and the Principality of Monaco without the tolls, parking and petrol.
While the trains can at times be dirty or covered in graffiti, they are fast and reasonably priced and there is no denying how beautiful the journey along the coast from Monaco to Cannes is.
After buying your ticket, don’t forget to validate it using the yellow machines as you enter the platform.
